Our pressroom silicones offer a range of different silicone solutions to suit the pressroom industry requirements. AB Specialty Silicones manufactures a pure high quality silicone printers emulsion product line with silicone concentrations from 20% – 60%. Each of these products has a hybrid emulsion equivalent which is a more economical option offering similar performance. We also have the ability to custom manufacture to suit our customers’ individual needs.
Silicones for Pressroom Applications
Silicone Emulsions are non-flammable, non-toxic, nonionic emulsions of various viscosities of polydimethylsiloxane fluids.

Hybrid emulsions are silicone emulsions with anti-stat agents and conductivity additives – also called web conditioners – for use on high speed web printing presses. They are cost effective alternatives to conventional silicone emulsions.
